What's leftover from 2009? A poster from "dirty panties, bones and fish sauce" dated February 20th, christmas cards in the recycle can, forgotten decoration hanging on the hook above the window, photograph of "Ruby" by Sam Waidler , and last, a message on the telephone, "... they say If I don't have any more treatments I can last another month but I want to tell you that I love you, that we've had a grand friendship."
What's leftover from this morning? Snow crystals melting into pecan bark, shovel out the back door, one glove on Romero Street, echoes from a barking dog, noisy birds wanting scraps of food,
