What's leftover from May Day, 2010? Snow stains on red bricks outside the studio, ashes in the wood stove, lingering smell of Miss Pearl after the rain, notes from "Art Charlie" ("...say do you think that Dirty Sally is a Buddha?"), music as the breeze rattles the bamboo chimes hanging from the roof, AND indigestion from devouring a 10" pizza- by myself!
What's leftover from a minute ago? Hail on the skylight, cold tea in a cup, chill in the air, voicemail, "Can you come out and play..."

Whats left over is a voice saying I will send the manuscript and pictures, a voice long ago saying I will call you, a sister missing another , whats left over is me.
whats left over is a relationship broken that led to another long term relationship. what is left over is forgivness given, excepted and now enjoying a better tomorrow. whats left over is a talented sister who is dirty sally but was just called sister before.
